Banana Bread Overnight Oats

There’s nothing better than a breakfast that was made for you the night before! The fact that it is nutritious and packed with whole grains makes it all the better. Besides serving them cold, I find that the biggest difference with “Overnight Oats” is that they seem like a genuinely light breakfast (because they are) whereas cooked oats always feel heavy to me!

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup unsweetened almond or oat milk

DIRECTIONS

In a single-serving bowl or jar, stir together oats, almond milk,  banana, cinnamon protein powder, flax seed powder.

Cover and refrigerate overnight. Stir well and add additional almond milk, as desired, before enjoying as is or topping with walnuts

Making overnight oats in a jar allows you to simply screw the lid on and shake before refrigerating overnight. Then, in the morning, you can stir with the spoon you will use to eat.
