Hi friends, I’m Mona.  

Nutritionist, Marketer, Author, and Mom

I have more titles than anyone I know including nutritionist, cookbook author, publisher, wellness entrepreneur and creative food strategist. But they all have one common goal….to satisfy my undying passion to make the world a healthier place. You can usually find me in my office creating, inventing or writing away, or in the kitchen testing out new recipes while having an 80s dance party or singing along to my favorite Broadway show tunes with my wooden spoon as a mike. Yes, all at once. 

After over 25 years as a nutritionist and marketing executive, I truly found that my mission in life is to create easy and helpful tools that will help others to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Obesity is on the rise in our country and I’m passionate about doing my part to reduce it. The kitchen is a fun and comfortable place to be and my goal is to help others see it that way. Food should be viewed as healthy fuel that nourishes our bodies, which in addition, also nourishes our soul.

As a strategist, I think out of the box and can help develop new products from concept to launch. I often am a resource and extra team player to your marketing teams. Having been a marketing executive, I know how to "get things done" in an efficient and creative way. My sweet spot is to take consumer insights and think “out of the box” to get successful results, innovation, and bring your vision or new product to life.

As a nutritional coach and culinary expert, this is where I can help you 1:1 with customized counseling and lifestyle planning. This personalized experience with you adds a dimension to my life that I crave in building solid and trusting relationships, friendships and building community.

In addition to my role as a nutritional coach and culinary expert, I founded a cookbook publishing company, YouLiveRight, LLC, focused on health and wellness products, kitchen appliances, food products, and grocery retailers. As a publisher, we’re a one-stop-shop focused on creating healthy recipes, mouthwatering photography, eye-catching design and cost effective printing. The quality of our production speaks for itself in our 5.0 star rating!

After working behind the scenes to publish over 30 titles, I am proud to come out from behind the “Wizard of Oz” curtain and author two cookbooks of my own, including The Perfect Portion Cookbook and Satisfy (about to launch in 2020).  And the reviews have been great…which makes me happy because it means that my recipes are becoming yours.

Outside of my business ventures, I’m the proud Mom of two “delicious” children, Scotty and Rachel. They’re warm, kind, have a desire to make a difference and they’re both foodies! I’d like to think they got it from me, but they have all my husband’s good qualities too. Doug is the love of my life, soulmate and best friend. None of this would be possible without him. 

When I’m not in the kitchen or spending time with my family, you can usually find me taking walks on the beach, entertaining friends, traveling, singing and acting! But most of all, I love making people around me happy.
